Jagatpur: A youth reportedly went missing while bathing in Kendrapara canal near Jagatpur on Monday.
The missing youth has been identified as 19-year-old Bitesh Yadav from Nayagaon in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar, who has resided in Sai Samikhyanagar, Jagatpur for two years.
Reports indicate that Bitesh visited the Kendrapara canal for a bath today. During his bath, he was swept away by the current.
The Jagatpur police, Chauliaganj Fire brigades, and the ODRAF team were alerted and immediately rushed to the location to commence a search operation.
