Employee Engagement Program on the ocassion of World Literacy Day

New Delhi /L. N. Beborta (Spl. Correspondent) : On Last Thursday (8th September)an Employee Engagement programme was organized on the occasion of World Literacy Day by Hitachi Lift India Pvt Ltd with the Implementing Partner “India Is Us” (i2u social foundation ) and N. G. O Tare Zameen Foundation. in the Community Center of Bapu Colony near Jonapur in between Chatarpur Metro Station and Mandi Village Road.. The Programme was started around 2 PM With the Welcome Speech by Bisikesan, the Chairman of Tare Zameen Foundation. Afterwards a colourful cultural Programme was excellently presented by the child Artists and Students of Tare Zameen Foundation. After the cultural event, Hitachi distributed educational kits to the young students so that they can continue to learn and grow. They also gifted a sewing machine to Tare Zameen Foundation to help woman beneficiaries who are associated with the N.G. O. to continue their skill building efforts like sewing utility. Speaking at the event, Managing Director of Hitachi,Mr Masaya Sakakibare, elaborated that Hitachi has always been dedicated to Promoting Social Welfare and Social innovation which helped in creation of a Sustainable and equitable Society. Along with the Employee of India Is Us, attenders in this event were, Mr. H. N. Purohit, Asst vice President (Finance &HR &Adm ), and Ms Ritu Juneja, (Manager HR&Adm )and even some other Employees of Hitachi attended this Programme to encourage young students.
Mr. Bisikesan, the Chairman of Tare Zameen Foundation honoured all the guests with various work of handicrafts, made by the students. And lastly thanked all for the cooperation for the successful implementation of the programme.
