Rourkela : Jalwa- a competition to test the wit, eloquence, grace and knowledge of cultural heritage of the employees was organised at the HRD Centre on 3rd March to mark forthcoming International Women’s Day celebrations.
More than 20 men and women employees took part in the competition. Wearing traditional attires of various regions of the country the participants walked on the ramp, spoke about the culture they were representing and answered the tricky questions of the judges.
Mr. R K Patra, CGM (SMS-I), Mr. S S Roychoudhury, CGM (RMHP) and Mr K K Sengupta, CGM (C&IT) were the judges of the competition. Ms. Rajashree Banerjee, CHM(HRD) welcomed the gathering and also detailed about the rules of the competitions. Ms. Arnnapurna Behera, Senior Manager (HRD) and Mr. Batakrishna Giri, Deputy Manager (RCL) jointly coordinated the event.The participants floored the audience not only with their beautiful attires and creative presentations but also with their zeal, zest and witty answers.
