Bureau Head: When it is noticed that some physically challenged and visually impaired dare go to the offices by walking for collection of govt benefits and age old pensions in some parts of the state, whereas the noble gesture being exhibited by the executive officer of Jeypore municipality Siddhartha Patnaik by his undertaking of visiting door to door of all the twenty eight wards so as to distribute the pensions for the aged and otherwise challenged persons received huge appreciation across the municipality area of Jeypore. Mr. Patnaik speaking to our correspondent regarding his door to door visit said ” My visit to individual homes not only increase the confidence of the Senior citizens but also discuss with them a vast number of beneficiary schemes of the government “Apart from that, the current heatwave would be highly endangering for coverage of any distance for the aged people even if being supported, so I along with my staff and councillors do visit to individual homes for distribution of pensions for the aged people, added Mr. Patnaik.
