On way to Netaji Bus terminal inauguration, Odisha CM shown black flags – N.F Times

Bhubaneswar: Activists of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Hindu Sena waved black flags at Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his visit to Cuttack city for inauguration of Netaji Bus Terminal and other projects today.

The BJP activists waved black flags to Patnaik near Satichoura Square. They also shouted slogans to protest against the Chief Minister’s visit to the Silver City.

The protestors alleged that the state government under the leadership of Patnaik has been showing step-motherly treatment to Cuttack city.

“The state government has awarded the tenders of developmental projects in Cuttack to contractors from Tamil Nadu by ignoring the local youths. The construction work for most of these projects has not been completed. But, the Chief Minister has arrived in Cuttack to inaugurate these projects,” said a BJP activist.

The activists of Hindu Sena waved black flags at the Chief Minister near Badambadi Square.

The police took prompt action and detained the protestors.
