Sundargarh: A man died as the wall of the house inside which he was sleeping collapsed at Jarangaloi village under Badagaon block of Odisha’s Sundargarh district, last night.
The deceased was identified as Kurunath Kanta (34).
According to reports, the wall of the kutcha house had weakened due to incessant rainfall in the area. The victim sustained critical injuries as it collapsed and fell on him.
He was rushed to a hospital, where doctor declared him dead.
Fortunately, his two-year-old son escaped unhurt in the accident.
A pall of gloom descended on the village after the tragic incident.
