Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly stabbed his two-year-old son to death in Nabarangpur district of Odisha today.
Accused Radha Santa of Gujamapadar village under Maidalpur police limits in Nabarangpur also killed an elderly woman when she tried to intervene, sources said.
On being informed by the villagers, police reached the spot and arrested the accused.
“The accused killed his two-year-old son by stabbing the boy repeatedly. He also attacked an elderly woman from the village with the sharp weapon when she tried to protect the child. She was killed in the attack. The exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained,” said a local.
