Bhubaneswar: A youth was found dead at his lover’s house at Sisupalgarh area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar city today.
The deceased person has been identified as Papuni Swain, a resident of Nimapada area in Puri district.
According to reports, Papuni was working as a worker at the Public Health Engineering Organisation (PHEO). He was in a relationship with a woman from Sisupalgarh for the past few years. He visited her house very often.
However, the couple had a heated argument over some issue yesterday following which, the irate beau reportedly hanged himself with a dupatta inside the room.
On receiving information, Dhauli police rushed to the spot today morning, recovered the body, and sent it to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem.
Whether it was a murder or suicide, the local police is yet to reveal anything.
Meanwhile, a scientific team has reached the site to initiate probe into the incident.
