Aska: A Plus 2 girl student allegedly immolated herself for an unknown reason at Bhetanai village in Ganjam district.
According to reports, the minor girl in the absence of family members at home set herself ablaze by pouring petrol over her body. She was a first-year student of Plus 2 at a junior college in Balipadar area.
The reason behind taking such an extreme step is obscure.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and began a probe into the matter.
