Bhadrak: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted valuables and donation boxes from two temples at Santhia under Bhadrak Town police limits in Odisha, late last night.
According to reports, the looters entered Madanmohan Temple and Govindajew Temple by breaking the locks. The robbers then decamped with the donation boxes and other valuables used for puja of the deities.
On being informed by locals about the robbery, police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
The details regarding the stolen items can be ascertained after a probe, police said.
Preliminary investigation revealed that drug peddlers might have been involved in the loot.
