Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely over Odisha districts during next 2 days; check details – N.F Times


Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of Odisha during the next 48 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed no large change over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly below normal at one or two places, below normal at one or two places, appreciably above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature Forecast: No major change in the minimum temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next 4 to 5 days.

The highest maximum (day) temperature of 30.0°C was recorded at Malkangiri and Paralakhemundi. The lowest minimum (night) temperature of 10.0°C was recorded at Keonjhargarh, Sundargarh and Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha in the morning hours.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput.

For Tuesday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 26.12.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 27.12.2023)
