Jharsuguda: A man was allegedly thrashed to death by his friends during a feast at Patrapali village under Laikera police limits in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district, late last night.
The deceased was identified as Bipin Bhoi (25).
As per reports, Bipin and his friends had arranged a feast in the locality, during which a quarrel ensued between them.
It took a violent turn as his friends thrashed him with a stick, killing him on the spot.
Police have recovered the body for post-mortem and detained six persons for questioning as a part of the investigation.
