Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Nyay Yatra likely to cover 10 districts of Odisha – N.F Times



Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ is likely to cover as many as 10 districts of Odisha, informed Sarat Patnaik, President, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).

The proposed districts are Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khordha (Bhubaneswar), Ganjam, Koraput, Kalahandi, Nuapada and Balangir, said Patnaik.

Gandhi will enter Odisha from Jharkhand and head towards Chhattisgarh after the programme in Odisha, the OPCC chief said.

He further said that the party has been working hard for ‘Mission 90’ (to win 90 seats in Odisha Assembly Elections-2024). Congress will field candidates who had lost with less margin in the 2019 polls and those who have organizational strength, he added.

Patnaik has gone to New Delhi to hold discussion with Gandhi regarding the ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ in Odisha.

Gandhi will embark on the 6,200 km ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ from Manipur on January 14. It will cover 85 districts in 14 states, including Odisha, and conclude in Mumbai on March 20.
