Kamakhyanagar: Two persons were killed and two others sustained grievous injuries as the motorcycles on which they were travelling had a head-on collision today near OTPCL Colony and Mahuli village under Tumusingha police limits in Dhenkanal district.
The two deceased persons were identified as Sagar Sahoo from Mahuli village and Sibaram Behera from Aghiragoda village in the district. The injured were identified as Kanha Sahoo from Baisanga village and Bapun Sahoo from Aghiragoda village.
According to a police source, the road mishap occurred when Sagar along with another person was on his way from Kamakhyanagar to elsewhere in the district riding his motorcycle. His motorcycle was hit by another two-wheeler coming from the front leading to the untimely deaths.
On being informed, Tumusingha police reached the spot and launched a probe.
