Night temp likely to fall across Odisha: IMD – N.F Times


Bhubaneswar: Minimum temperature or night temperature is very likely to fall by 2/3 degree Celsius over the districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, predicted the IMD today.

Minimum temperature fell significantly at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of North Interior Odisha during the last 24 hours, said the IMD in its weather bulletin today.

The night temperature was below normal at one or two places and above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and Coastal Odisha in the last 24 hours, it added.

“Minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to fall by 2/3 degree C at a few places over the districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours and no large change thereafter,” said the IMD.

According to IMD, dense fog is very likely to occur in Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak district on January 13 (Saturday).

Similarly, a few places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Cuttack may witness dense fog on January 14 (Sunday). The IMD has issued a yellow warning in this regard.
