Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places in connection with allegation against Boudh RTO Basanta Kumar Mohapatra regarding possession of properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
As per reports, simultaneous house searches were being conducted by the anti-corruption agency on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The searches were carried out at the following places in Bhubaneswar, Boudh and Ganjam.
1) A room at Utkal Signature, Pahala, Bhubaneswar.
2) Shopping complex at Utkal Kanika Galleria, Gautam Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
3) A flat at Iconic Tower, Kalarahanga, Bhubaneswar.
4) Three BHK flat at Utkal Royal Residency, Kalpana Square, Bhubaneswar.
5) A flat at West End Apartment, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
6) A flat at Haripriya Enclave, Ranga Matia, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar.
7) Office chamber of Basanta Kumar Mohapatra at RTO office, Boudh.
8) Rented residential house of Mohapatra located at Jagannath Vihar, Rajanpalli, Boudh.
9) Paternal house of Mohapatra located at Bhanjanagar.
10) House of his relative at Kamapali, Berhampur.
Till last reports came in, the searches were underway while the total value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be calculated.
