Sonepur (Pawan Agrawal ) : A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized there at the premises of Kalyan Mandap, Subalaya, Birmaharajpur Block of Subarnapur District by the leading agency Jagannath Sena of Subalaya. The Sarapanchof Subalaya Sj Pramod Kumar Mahapatra attended as the Chief Guest and the Samiti Member Smt. Lili Patra, Social Worker Sj. Nanda Kishore Mishra, Junior Red Cross Officer, (JRCO),Subarnapur Sj. Rabi Chandra Pasayat, Member of the Blood Donors Association and Red Cross Volunteer Sj. Ram Narayan Dash as the Honourable guests respectively and opined that Voluntary Blood Donation Camp motivates the youth power to save the life of the needy.
The President of Jagannath Sena Sj. Pramod Podh presided over the inaugural meeting and Sj. Santosh Pujahari co-ordinated the Cmap. 51 Units of blood was collected in the camp. Initially there went an awareness rally in the village of Subalaya starting from Jagannath Temple to the venue of Blood Donation Camp. In the sideline of the camp Sj. Chandramani Bagh, JRC Resource Person working in Subalaya High School was felicitated by the Janagannth Sena for being the Mukshy Mantri Shikshya Awardee, the first ever award in this session. The other persons of Jagannath Sena who extended support to materialize the camp were Upendra, Kishore, Sampada, Champe, Nandan, Bhuban respectively. The Secretary of Jagannath Sena Sj. Chandan Sahu passed the vote of thanks to the panel of guests and donors for the cause of humanity finally.
