Rainfall, thundershower activities very likely to continue in Odisha districts till February 28 – N.F Times

Bhubaneswar: With the cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood becoming less marked, rainfall activities are very likely in several districts of Odisha till 0830 hrs IST of February 28, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, above normal at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature forecast: No major change is likely in the minimum (night) temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next four to five days.

The highest maximum temperature of 35.6°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 16.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

For Sunday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 25.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 26.02.2024)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Odisha, South Coastal Odisha and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
