Versace Continues To Champion Arab Models For FW24 – N.F Times

Versace Continues To Champion Arab Models For FW24

Paris: Milan Fashion Week may be behind us but Versace’s Fall/Winter 2024 showcase has left a lasting impression on the fashion-conscious crowd.

Presenting its latest collection, the Italian fashion house’s FW24 pieces were infused with a rebellious spirit. Officewear with an edge was the overall theme, featuring power tailoring, disrupted draping and deconstructed prints. The brand’s signature corset dresses, button-down details and brilliant embellishments also made an appearance, along with a muted colour palette of black, browns, maroon, and grey.

Staying true to their modeling roots, Versace once again enlisted an illustrious roster of distinguished Arab talent. Gigi Hadid, who is American, Palestinian, and Dutch, was joined by the likes of Moroccan-Egyptian and Dutch model, Imaan Hamaam, and French-Algerian beauty, Loli Bahia. Together, the part-Arab models represented the region on the runway.

Opening the show, Loli sauntered coolly down the runway in a matching two-piece set. A grey high-waisted skirt was paired with a long-sleeved button-down shirt tucked in at the waist, accompanied by a white, formal collar.

Gigi appeared next wearing a black sheer collared dress with intricate button-down detailing and a daring thigh-high slit. Complementing her ensemble, she sported black latex gloves and sharp eye makeup that accentuated her Middle Eastern features. Lastly, Imaan’s look was also a sight to remember. The model strutted down the runway in a tailored checked blazer featuring a plunging neckline. She paired the piece with black leggings and statement leather boots.
