Kendrapara: A jawan reportedly shot himself with his service gun at the DRDO military camp in Mahakalpara area in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.
The deceased jawan has been identified as Rajesh Karan (35) from Tamil Nadu. He was posted at DRDO at Kiarabanka in Mahakalpara.
According to reports, the jawan killed himself with his service gun at around 1.55 AM during his duty hours.
The reason behind him taking the extreme step is still unclear.
Till the last report came in, no comment was received from DRDO authorities on this matter.
