Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over some Odisha districts on March 25 & 26, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD stated, “Maximum temperatures observed marked rise at one or two places over the districts of North Interior Odisha, appreciable rise at many places over the districts of North Odisha, at a few places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, below normal at one or two places over the districts of Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”
Temperature forecast: Maximum temperature is very likely to rise by 3°C to 5°C during next three days at many places over the districts of Odisha and no large change thereafter. Minimum temperature is likely to rise by 2°C to 3°C during next five days at many places over the districts of Odisha.
The highest maximum (day) temperature of 38.0°C was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 16.6°C was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.

Light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
