Bhubaneswar: The first Cabinet meeting of the new BJP government led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will be held at the Lok Seva Bhavan today.
The meeting will be held soon after the swearing-in ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister at the Janata Maidan at 5:00 PM. With the oath-taking of the new CM, the new era of BJP rule will begin in Odisha.
Sri Majhi will preside over the first Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet is likely to give a nod to some important proposals. Also, some important decisions are to be taken to mark the beginning of a progressive government led by the BJP.
Along with the Chief Minister, the two deputy Chief Ministers, Prabhati Parida and Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo and all the ministers will also take Oath of Office and Secrecy today.
