NEET UG 2024: NTA Releases Revised Results Of 1563 Candidates – N.F Times

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 retest.

This re-examination was conducted for 1,563 candidates who were affected by the “grace marks” and “paper leak” issues earlier in the year. Candidates who appeared for this retest can now check their scores on NTA’s official website: exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.

The initial NEET UG 2024 examination faced significant challenges when it was discovered that some students were awarded grace marks due to a “loss of time” incident during the exam. This decision was subsequently challenged in the honourable Supreme Court. The Court ruled that the grace marks should be scrapped and provided the affected candidates with the option to either take a re-test or retain their original scores, excluding the grace marks. Additionally, there were allegations of a paper leak, which added to the complexity and urgency of addressing the examination’s integrity.

NEET UG re-exam was conducted on June 23

In compliance with the Supreme Court’s directive, the NTA was re-examined on June 23, specifically for the 1,563 candidates who retook the test. This re-exam aimed to ensure a fair assessment and allow the affected students to achieve scores that accurately reflect their performance.
