Jajpur: The local block administration on Tuesday, sealed the Balle Balle Dhaba, a food court situated on the campus of Dharmasala Bhawan in Chandikhol, Jajpur district. The action came after the expiration of a three-day notice period issued on June 28, demanding the vacation of the premises.
The dhaba, located along NH 16, was allegedly operating without proper documentation and had been constructed on the Dharmasala Bhawan property without authorisation. The Block Development Officer (BDO) stated that the food court was sealed due to unauthorised occupation.
A team of block administration officials was directed to proceed to the site, secure the premises with lock and key, and document the process with short videos and photographs. The BDO further announced that a high-level committee would be established to investigate and take action against those involved in the illegal activities.
This development highlights the local administration’s efforts to address unauthorised commercial establishments and ensure compliance with property regulations.
