Bolangir: Panic gripped in Saintala area of Bolangir district of dengue outbreak in the district. As many as 25 persons have been affected by the disease across the district so far.
Some patients have been admitted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital while some others were admitted to a private hospital in Bargarh.
It is a matter of worry that the district administration takes no steps while the number of dengue patients has been increasing day by day. After receiving complaints from people, the health department sent a medical team to conduct tests in Bolangir, Saintala and Gopabandhupada.
According to Samarendra Mohapatra, the medical in charge, about 18 patients have been admitted to Saintala Hospital and are undergoing treatment.
