Bhubaneswar: Gavali Parag Harshad, a senior IAS Officer, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram.
The appointment was announced on Friday, and the Personnel & Training Department’s Deputy Secretary has sent a letter to the Odisha Chief Secretary regarding this appointment.
The letter stated that Gavali Parag Harshad, a 2013-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer, will serve as the Private Secretary to Jual Oram at the level of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for 5 years.
As a result, the Odisha Chief Secretary has requested that he be relieved of his duties immediately to take up his new assignment. Gavali Parag Harshad, who belongs to the 2013 batch, is currently serving as the Sundargarh Collector and previously held the position of Kalahandi Collector.
