Balasore: Miscreants looted Rs 12 lakh from a petrol pump employee after firing at him in front of the Indian Bank branch at Bartana Bazar under Khaira police limits in Balasore district on Tuesday.
As per reports, the bike-borne miscreants fired at the man while he was going to deposit the cash in the bank. They snatched the cash bag from him and fled from the spot. A bullet hit his left leg in the firing.
The man was rescued by the locals and admitted to the hospital.
After getting information, Kharia Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
