Malkangiri: Maoists shot a youth dead and brutally assaulted two others in the Kistaram forest on the Odisha- Chhattisgarh border on suspicion of them being police informers.
The deceased has been identified as Mandobi Raja Rao, a resident of the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh district.
As per reports, a group of armed Naxals abducted Rao and two other youths from their houses and took them away. Later, they produced them before the Praja Court (kangaroo court), which pronounced death for the youth. As per the Praja Court’s order, Naxals killed Rao while leaving the other two critically wounded.
