New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed deep grief over the demise of Padma Shri Awardee, Kamala Pujari.
“Sad to learn about the passing away of eminent agriculturist Smt Kamala Pujari. She was honoured with Padma Shri for her inspiring initiative of preserving endangered and rare seeds of paddy and other crops. She promoted organic farming among many farmers, especially women farmers. Her contribution to organic farming and environment conservation will be remembered.
