Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) matriculation supplementary examination will begin today.
The exams are scheduled from July 22 to July 31, following the previously announced timings of 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Students are advised to download their admit cards from the BSE’s official website at www.bseodisha.ac.in.
Statewide, the matric supplementary exam will be conducted in 83 centres, serving 972 students.
Simultaneously, the State Open School Certificate examination will be held across 121 centres, accommodating a total of 24,520 students.

During this year’s matric examination, out of the 5,41,061 students who appeared, an impressive 5,30,153 students passed.
It is noteworthy that girls surpassed boys in performance, achieving a pass rate of 96.73% compared to the boys’ 95.39%, indicating a modest but meaningful advantage in academic achievement.
