‘No evidence of paper leak has been found in the last 7 years’, says Dharmendra Pradhan – N.F Times

New Delhi: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has assured that there has been no evidence of paper leaks in the NEET exams over the last seven years. He made this statement in response to concerns raised by opposition MPs in the Monsoon session of the Parliament which began today, July 22.

Pradhan stated, “No evidence of paper leak has been found in the last 7 years. This (NEET) matter is going on before the Supreme Court. I can say with full responsibility that more than 240 exams have been conducted successfully after NTA.”

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, questioned the Education Minister about the systematic issues with NEET. Gandhi asked, “As this (NEET) is a systematic issue, what exactly are you doing to fix this issue?”

In response, Pradhan defended the examination system and criticized Gandhi’s comments. He said, “A lie will not become truth just by shouting. The fact that the Leader of Opposition says that the country’s examination system is rubbish, is highly condemnable.”

Pradhan emphasized the integrity and success of the exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), assuring that the system is robust and secure.

Moreover, on raising the issue of the NEET paper controversy, Samajwadi Party MP, Akhilesh Yadav said, “This government will make a record of paper leaks… There are some centres where more than 2,000 students have passed. As long as this minister (Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan) is there, the students will not get justice.”
