Bhubaneswar: Senior Odisha Administrative Service officer Deba Prasad Dash, who was placed under suspension since 2018, has been reinstated in service by the State government on Thursday.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Dash has been appointed as the Joint Secretary to the Government, Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department with a condition that he must adhere to the Odisha Government Servants’ Conduct Rules, 1959.
Dash was serving as a joint secretary at the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) when he was suspended by the then BJD government on 28th May 2018.
