Raipur: The outgoing Governor, Biswabhusan Harichandan, offered an emotional goodbye to Chhattisgarh at the State Hangar today, sharing his appreciation and respect for the state.

“I have received immense affection from the people of Chhattisgarh. I am confident that with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s competent leadership, the state will progress swiftly in its development,” he remarked.

Commending Chief Minister Sai, his cabinet, and the citizens of Chhattisgarh, Harichandan added, “Sai is exceedingly humble and accessible.

He is earnestly working towards Chhattisgarh’s development, giving special consideration to the economically and socially disadvantaged communities. The warmth I’ve experienced from the cabinet and the people of Chhattisgarh has been overwhelming, and I will forever support the people of this state.”

Reflecting on his term, Harichandan expressed, “Goodbyes are inevitable in life, and now it’s my time. My tenure as Governor here in Chhattisgarh has been remarkable. The residents are incredibly straightforward and warm-hearted.

Blessed with abundant natural resources, this state is also home to stunning natural scenery. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the upliftment of the underprivileged, deprived, and marginalized groups, and his initiatives are visible in Chhattisgarh. The ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ has been celebrated nationwide, with widespread participation and a display of patriotic spirit.”

Urging the nation’s citizens to contribute to their homeland, the departing Governor stated, “Every citizen should concentrate on the advancement of our motherland and strive to elevate society.

India stands as the fifth-largest economy globally, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is determined to elevate the country to the third-largest economy soon. As the largest democracy in the world, India safeguards the constitutional rights of all its citizens.”
