India ends a 52-year wait to defeat Australia in a men’s hockey game in the Olympics.

Indian men’s hockey team registered their first win over Australia at the Olympics since Munich in 1972.

On August 2, 2024, the Indian men’s hockey team showcased their prowess by defeating Australia 3-2 in a pivotal Pool B match at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Now, over to quarter-finals which will see the confident Indian team in action.
