Bolangir: A group clash in the Malgodown area resulted in one fatality and two critical injuries in Bolangir district on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Neeraj Harpal, a recent bail recipient. The two critically injured persons, including one identified as Mukesh Harpal, are receiving care at VIMSAR in Burla.
As per reports, the confrontation involved two opposing factions in the Malgodown area, wielding swords and other armaments, leading to one death and two severe injuries.
The event has caused widespread alarm among the local people, prompting the police to initiate an inquiry. Early findings suggest that the violent encounter stemmed from a historical grudge.
