Mumbai: Actor Vikrant Massey has clarified his recent social media post that led to widespread speculation about his retirement from the film industry.
The actor, known for his roles in “12th Fail” and “The Sabarmati Report,” explained that his announcement was misinterpreted by many.
In his original post, Massey expressed his desire to step back from acting to focus on his personal life and health. “The last few years have been phenomenal, but it’s time to recalibrate and go back home as a husband, father, and son,” he wrote. This led to rumors that he was retiring from acting altogether.
However, Massey has now set the record straight, stating, “I’m not retiring. I just need a long break to take care of my health and spend time with my family. Acting is my passion, and I will return when the time feels right”.
The actor’s clarification has been met with relief from fans and colleagues alike, who were concerned about losing one of the industry’s most talented performers. Massey assured his supporters that he would be back, rejuvenated and ready to take on new challenges in the future.
