Washington: United States President Joe Biden will on Wednesday visit Israel for talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and show his support for Israel\u2019s right to defend itself, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Tuesday. Blinken added that Biden will reaffirm solidarity with Israel, which has widely been expected to launch a ground assault in Gaza, reported ANI.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cPresident Biden will again make clear, as he\u2019s done unequivocally since Hamas\u2019s slaughter of more than 1,400 people, including at least 30 Americans, that Israel has the right and indeed the duty to defend its people from Hamas and other terrorists and to prevent future attacks. President Biden will underscore our crystal clear message to any actor, state or non-state trying to take advantage of this crisis to attack Israel, don\u2019t,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n \u201cPresident will continue to coordinate closely with our Israeli partners to secure the release of hostages taken by Hamas\u2026The United States and Israel have agreed to develop a plan that will enable humanitarian aid from donor nations and multilateral organizations to reach civilians in Gaza\u2026\u201d Blinken further said.<\/p>\n Blinken also took to X (formerly Twitter), and said, \u201cOn Wednesday, @POTUS will visit Israel.
