No written assurance was given to us. We apologise for the strike during puja. Our intention is not to cause inconvenience for the passengers,\u201d said Debendra Sahu, Secretary, private bus owners\u2019 association.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe state government during a meeting on October 9 had assured us that buses under the scheme will operate only from panchayats to blocks and not to district headquarters.
