Rourkela : A meeting was organized between Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) and various stake-holders including members from Rourkela Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), Rourkela Truck Owners\u2019 Association (RTOA), Vedvyas Truck Owners\u2019 Association (VTOA), Trailer Owners\u2019 Association Rourkela (TOAR) representatives at Material Management Conference hall on 20th September, 2022. Mr. Somnath Tripathy, ED (MM), RSP presided over the meeting. Present on the occasion were Mr. S.C.Mohanty, GM I\/c (Marketing), Mr. V. Apparao Chaganti, GM (Marketing), Mr. Rakesh Dhoundiyal, GM(Marketing) and many Senior officers of RSP. A total 32 number of participants attended the meeting.
\nThe objective of the meeting was to inform the stake-holders regarding shifting of Gate operation from Traffic Gate to Hot Strip Mill-II (HSM-II) Gate with effect from 26\/09\/2022. Several issues pertaining to Gate operation were discussed during the meeting. For route-familiarization, route map was also shared with the participants explaining the detailed movement through HSM-II Gate. The vehicles will enter through HSM-II Gate and will go to the Weigh Bridge. From there they will move to the Loading points. Thereafter they will go to the Weigh Bridge and then exit through HSM-II Gate. Detailed discussions and deliberations were held regarding streamlining the various issues raised by the stake holders. A site visit was also undertaken for familiarization and better understanding. This initiative taken by RSP will help reduce the heavy traffic congestion on the Ring Road thereby paving way for smooth movement of the commuters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
