Mahua Moitra was on Monday made the district president of West Bengal\u2019s Krishnanagar (Nadia North).<\/p>\n<p>This comes at a time when the TMC MP finds herself \u2018isolated\u2019 from within &amp; outside the party and makes desperate attempts to deflate charges against her.<\/p>\n<p>While Mahua Moitra appeared before the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee and forcefully put her side of the story in cash for query scam, her party maintained distance from her by staying tight-lipped. A report was submitted, seeking her resignation, to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Prakash Birla\u2019s office on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>She lashed out at the Ethics panel recommendation and called it a \u2018fixed match\u2019.
