Many scribes also took to their X handle and shared their \u2018selfie moment\u2019 with the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>The Diwali Milan program at BJP\u2019s central office also saw presence of Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, this is not first such event. Almost every year, PM Modi makes it a point to extend Diwali greetings to press &amp; his partymen by hosting a function at party headquarters. He said that Prime Minister addressed more than 125 journalists by name, which shows how he remains connected with the \u2018pulse of nation\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>PM Modi asked a TV journalist, \u2018why she made a job switch\u2019 while enquired from other, \u2018whether he was on leave for some days\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>PM Modi also asked a reputed print journalist, \u2018whether his son has come back to India or not\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>He said that many scribes were overwhelmed &amp; touched with such gesture from the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>Scores of scribes at the Diwali Milan event also looked in joyous &amp; celebratory mood over such close &amp; informal meet with the Prime Minister. Many of them including TV anchors got selfies clicked with PM.<\/p>\n<p>PM Modi was seen sharing laughter with couple of them while also ensuring to make everyone comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of TV journalists also took to X to share about the memorable moment at Diwali Milan event.<\/p>\n<p>TV anchor Shobhna Yadav, who recently switched from ABP News to Zee News, tweeted a picture of her with PM and said that she felt honoured that her work was being acknowledged.
