New Delhi: Amidst the heated campaign in poll-bound Telangana, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader & MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi openly threatened a policeman on duty and hinted that his \u201cone signal\u2019 was enough to \u2018ruin his life\u2019.<\/p>\n
The brazen threat by AIMIM MLA came when the police officer tried to intercept his speech and seek a \u2018timely end\u2019 to election speech as the Election Commission\u2019s model code of conduct was in place in the state. Notably, the state will vote for electing its new 139 member Assembly, with polling slated for November 30.<\/p>\n
A video of Akbaruddin Owaisi pointing fingers at the cop and threatening him was tweeted by news agency ANI. In the video, he could be seen first shouting at the police man and then hurtling towards him to move out of the podium.<\/p>\n
\u201cInspector saab, I have a watch. Please go from here,\u201d Akbaruddin Owaisi said.<\/p>\n

Akbaruddin Owaisi is the brother of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. He is contesting from Chandrayangutta, an assembly seat which he has held since 1999.<\/p>\n
BJP\u2019s bulldozer reaction to Owaisi\u2019s rant<\/span><\/h2>\n
Akbaruddin Owaisi\u2019s open intimidation of policeman brought him in the crosshairs of public, who slammed the AIMIM leader for the brazen abuse of power.<\/p>\n
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took strong objection to his intimidation tactics and warned that the AIMIM leader would \u2018get the taste of his medicine\u2019, if saffron party comes to power.<\/p>\n
Telangana BJP launched a scathing attack on Congress and the ruling BRS regime and said that they were responsible for mushrooming of a criminal enterprise called AIMIM.<\/p>\n
The Telangana BJP via its X handle also warned the AIMIM that any such action of Akbaruddin Owaisi will invite bulldozer action.<\/p>\n

\nFor decades, with support of Congress & BRS, AIMIM has become a criminal enterprise which has kept the old city deprived & crime ridden.<\/p>\n
