Gehlot and Kamal Nath should be asked to explain the results,\u201d said a former party MLA.<\/p>\n<p>A WhatsApp group run by disgruntled leaders in the Congress blamed the defeat on Priyanka Gandhi Vadra\u2019s \u2018coterie\u2019 that had played a key role in ticket distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Even as TV channels played out the BJP\u2019s victory in state polls, a statement by Acharya Pramod Krishnam was enough to instigate the Congress workers.<\/p>\n<p>The Acharya said, \u201cThe defeat is the curse of Sanatan,\u201d while reacting to the party\u2019s defeat.<\/p>\n<p>Congress workers retaliated by saying, \u201cThese are the kind of leaders who have been damaging the party with their uncalled-for statements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Samajwadi Party office also wore a deserted look but some party workers at \u2018bati-chokha\u2019 stall outside could be heard blaming the debacle on the party\u2019s strategy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SP-Congress war in Madhya Pradesh did a lot of damage.
