The convict, identified as the rape survivor\u2019s maternal grandfather Gopal Singh, was imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 in addition to the imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>According to official sources, the convict had raped the minor girl at a place under Madhupatana police limits of Cuttack.<\/p>\n<p>District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Cuttack was ordered by the fast track court to pay the victim girl a compensation of Rs 3 lakh, the source added.<\/p>\n<p>Worth mentioning, earlier on November 29, three youths were sentenced to life imprisonment by the Additional District &amp; Sessions Judge-cum-Special POCSO court for gangraping a minor girl in Patana locality of Keonjhar district.
