Besides, the court slapped a penalty of Rs 10 lakh on him. Non-payment of the penalty amount would invite imprisonment for additional six months for the retired officer.<\/p>\n<p>The former Executive Engineer\u2019s wife has been sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for one year in the DA case. The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 2 lakh on her.
