Action will be taken by the civic body if the owner does not take necessary steps for removal,\u201d the official added.<\/p>\n<p>In a similar vein, the BMC recently penalised the owners of several marriage mandaps, hotels, and other business establishments for violating prescribed garbage disposal norms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe civic body is creating awareness among denizens to strictly follow the prescribed norms and keep the city clean. BMC has been collecting garbage right from the doorsteps.
