Pramod succumbed to his injuries immediately.<\/p>\n<p>On being informed, Rayagada SP Vivekanand Sharma, SDPO Rashmi Ranjan Senapati and Rayagada town police IIC BK Kanhar reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident. A scientific team has been called in to assist in the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome people had threatened to kill Pramod three days ago. He had informed this to me. But, we did not take the incident seriously. I have lodged an FIR with police,\u201d said Pramod\u2019s uncle Gangadhar Puala, a former chairman of Rayagada Zilla Parishad.<\/p>\n<p>Rayagada SP said love affair was the reason behind the murder. \u201cThe police have arrested two persons in connection with the incident while another accused has absconded.
