His wealth of experience and proven track record in sports management and administration makes him an ideal candidate to lead the IOA in its mission to promote and develop Olympic sports in India,\u201d the IOA said in a release on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Dr PT Usha, speaking on behalf of the Nomination Committee, expressed confidence in Iyer\u2019s ability to steer the IOA to new heights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe that Raghuram Iyer brings a unique combination of leadership, strategic vision and a deep understanding of the sports landscape.
