The IIC of the PS was also slapped show-cause notice in this regard by Department higher-ups.<\/p>\n<p>The accused policemen are Lamataput outpost in-charge Chitra Pradhani, constable Bhuban Nayak, and havildar Jagdish Bagh.<\/p>\n<p>According to a source, the victim had previously given a written complaint to South Western Range DIG Charan Singh Meena alleging third-degree torture. A Departmental inquiry was subsequently initiated at Machhkund PS and Lamataput outpost, which is still underway.<\/p>\n<p>Shiva was picked by police on January 10 in connection with a case after he was allegedly caught by a complainant while the former was secretly capturing video of the complainant and his wife at night near the latter\u2019s house.
