{"id":19496,"date":"2024-01-26T12:30:35","date_gmt":"2024-01-26T12:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenftimes.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/26\/koraput-road-mishap-odisha-cm-announces-ex-gratia-to-kin-of-deceased-n-f-times\/"},"modified":"2024-01-26T12:30:36","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T12:30:36","slug":"koraput-road-mishap-odisha-cm-announces-ex-gratia-to-kin-of-deceased-n-f-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenftimes.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/26\/koraput-road-mishap-odisha-cm-announces-ex-gratia-to-kin-of-deceased-n-f-times\/","title":{"rendered":"Koraput road mishap: Odisha CM announces ex-gratia to kin of deceased &#8211; N.F Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-514179\">&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-header post-tp-1-header\">\n<div class=\"single-featured\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content clearfix single-post-content\">\n<p>Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed grief over the death of three persons in a road mishap in Odisha\u2019s Koraput district today.<\/p>\n<p>Patnaik also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh to the next of the kin of the deceased persons, said the Chief Minister\u2019s Office (CMO) in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure proper treatment for the people who have sustained injuries in the mishap.<\/p>\n<p>At least three persons, including two women, were killed and 13 others were injured in a road mishap involving an SUV, an auto-rickshaw and two motorcycles in Odisha\u2019s Koraput district today afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The mishap took place near Bijapur Square under Borigumma police limits in Koraput at around 2 pm.<\/p>\n<p>According to the locals, the SUV first collided with a bike coming from the opposite direction and then hit the auto-rickshaw from the rear before colliding with the second bike within a few seconds.<\/p>\n<p>The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
